Deepika Padukone Shares Mental Health Helpline Contacts To Deal With Crisis

Deepika Padukone has been vocal about mental health awareness for quite a long time. She was significantly the first person to openly talk about her mental health journey in Bollywood. Since it’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we know it is essential for everyone to take care of their emotional as well as physical well-being.

So it was obvious that the actress would bring in more awareness on Mental Health Awareness Month. She shared a list of verified mental health helplines on her social media account. The actress also highlighted the significance of strong mental and emotional health in this time especially amid the surging cases of coronavirus.

She wrote how millions of us including her and her family are trying to stay sane. The actress reminded fans that they should not forget about their emotional well-being in the current crisis.

She wrote, “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, You Are Not Alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is HOPE! #YouAreNotAlone @tlllfoundation.”

Deepika also included 12 slides in various pink shades that contain the essential contact numbers. Bollywood stars are using their social media recently to pitch in with assistance for the COVID-19 pandemic. These include Alia Bhatt, John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Bhumi Pednekar among others.

However, this comes after Hollywood singers/ actors voiced out their support to India. Everyone in the Bollywood industry is trying to appeal on social media as they encourage fans to help in ways that are possible.
