Deepika Padukone Performs on “ghoomar” at the Cannes film festival

The 75th prestigious Cannes Film festival has begun, and it is one of the most prestigious film festivals that is held around the world. Actress Deepika Padukone is currently making all the Indians proud at the film festival. This time Padukone is not attending the film festival as an attendee but also as a jury member too.

The actress is making everyone’s jaw drop as she treats her fans with the majestic and dazzling looks at the Cannes which is taking the internet by a storm. The actress gave dazzling looks and treated her fans with glamorous outfits.

This time the actress is not into the headlines just for her looks, but she stuns everyone with her dancing skills as she performs “ghoomar”, at the Cannes film festival. A video that is released recently from the film festival shows the actress performing on “Ghoomar.”

 During a recently held press conference, the celebrities marked the presence and in the video, it is seen the actress is performing ghoomar along with other actresses like Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Urvashi Rautela. Along with that, it is seen that folk singer Mame Khan sings during the inauguration of the Indian Pavilion at the 75th Cannes film festival.

The actress has made headlines with her look as she graced the red carpet with glamour and elegance in a stunning retro sequin saree in black and gold, as she walked along with the other jury members. On the red carpet the actress spoke about, the honor of being a jury member at the film festival. The actress said, “It’s such a huge honor. It’s not something that our country has seen very often. So when we are given the opportunity, we should take it with a lot of humility & gratitude.”

Along with that, there is another great achievement as India has been announced as the official ‘country of honor’ at the Marche’ Du Films, also called Cannes Film Market. This is the first time any country has been chosen for this honor. Apart from this the Information and Broadcasting ministry has also chosen six Indian films that are going to be screened at the film festival.
