In his most recent Twitter tirade, Conor McGregor pledged to “kick over a goal post” online star Hasbulla.
The 34-year-old McGregor attacked the Russian in a string of since-deleted tweets. Hasbulla, 19, has growth hormone deficiency (GHD), but it’s unknown what made McGregor attack him. Hasbulla is good friends with McGregor’s former UFC adversary Khabib Nurmagomedov. In a jab at the former two-weight champion, Hasbulla also recently gave his pet chicken the name “Conor McGregor.”
Conor Mcgregor Tweets About Hasbulla
Hasbulla has become well-known in the MMA community and is close friends with a number of competitors. McGregor, though, has said that he is not a fan, tweeting: “I’d love to boot that little g**p Hasbulla over a goal post. How much to get him on the volley? I’m gonna make it my mission to score a three pointer with him one day, hon the GAA.”
Before deleting all of the tweets, the UFC fighter went one step farther and called Hasbulla a “little smelly inbred.”
The 19-year-old didn’t hesitate to respond to McGregor, writing: “I don’t follow bums… didn’t know someone was running their mouth, @ me next time”.
After making fun of McGregor’s record and declaring himself “undefeated,” Hasbulla issued a challenge to the Irishman to face him at UFC 280 in October. “I have my UFC contract now, if Conor McGregor is really a man… see me in Abu Dhabi. Got smashed by Khabib already. Guess his money from Mayweather ran out and he needs more attention”.
Hasbulla recently spent time with UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski while on tour in Australia. As the two had a meal, the online celebrity played a joke on Volkanovski by smearing a burger in his face. However, Volkanovski and the Russian are friendly since after McGregor’s attack, Volkanovski defended the Russian, telling the Irishman to “leave my mate alone.”
When he uploaded videos of himself on TikTok two years ago performing dares and stunts, Hasbulla shot to fame online. The Russian’s videos have received over two billion views, and he has over three million Instagram followers. Hasbulla and Abdu Rozik, a fellow online personality who also suffers from a lack of growth hormone, are bitter rivals.
Dana White, the head of the UFC, claimed that Hasbulla’s father objected to his competing in a cage but that he was persuaded to let the two settle their problems inside the octagon. “I don’t know if he wants to get involved,” White said on Pardon My Take. “From what I hear, his father is super protective of him. If that’s the case, you don’t want your kid fighting.”
