Cody Rhodes Selects RAW Star As Dream Opponent, Declares Triple H The G.O.A.T.

WWE has published several additional videos from the upcoming Broken Skull Sessions show, which features Cody Rhodes interviewing WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin. The episode airs on Peacock as well as the WWE Network later today. When picking his favourites in a game of 30-Second Shot Clock, Rhodes named AJ Styles as his dream opponent.

He decided to name The Rock vs. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18 as his favourite WWE match, and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia as his favourite venue. Rhodes also named his favourite Zelda game, favourite amusement park ride, favorite food burger, favourite TV show of all time, and more during rapid-fire play.

Stone Cold and The American Nightmare as well played a round of word association. Rhodes provided the following responses:

  • Randy Orton : Role model.
  • “Cross Fit” by Seth Rollins. (Austin burst out laughing, and Rhodes apologised.)
  • WWE Tag Champs Roman Reigns: “It’s over.”
  • Bianca Belair, RAW Women’s Champion: “Gear. Even though she makes her own equipment, which would be a trade.”
  • WWE Hall of Famer Triple H: “It’ll get me in distress, G.O.A.T.” He’s the best.”
  • Charlotte Flair, SmackDown Women’s Champion: “Gemstone.”

Underrated, says WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Yes, I’d say it’s underappreciated. Still highly regarded, but underappreciated.

The 3rd extra clip

Lean, says Becky Lynch. Since she’s the leanest, rudest person I’ve seen on the roster, and she’s lean, as evidenced by the veins protruding from her arm.

The 3rd extra clip features Rhodes discussing The Nightmare Bar, which is situated at his home, and also how he uses it to unwind after work, referring to it as the hope at the end of the tunnel whenever he’s coming off from a tour or something. Rhodes described himself as a ray of light of the tunnel type of guy, and he elaborated on how the home bar has influenced him.

The full video will be available on Peacock as well as the WWE Network tomorrow. WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday will feature Rhodes vs. Rollins II, a rematch of Rhodes’ victory at WrestleMania 38.
