Charlie Cox Explains How Disney+ Daredevil Born Again Will Be Different

Daredevil fans are already excited to see their beloved character in a completely new MCU story adaptation. During Comic Con, Marvel Studios announced the brand new series of the member of the defenders named as “Daredevil: Born Again”. Obviously, the series ain’t going to be the same as the past series. Marvel will bring something new to the table this time, with Charlie Cox’s character.

But how will it be different than the ones fans already saw? Well, don’t worry as Charlie Cox has answered all such questions in his recent interview. In a conversation with NME, Charlie says, “This has to be a reincarnation, it has to be different. Otherwise, why are we doing it.”

Charlie feels that his character will do well if it’s directed more toward a mature audience. Daredevil has always been a character whose story and personality have always been considered dark. He is a blind superhero, with great superhuman senses. He does think even the Disney+ adaptation of his character would be a dark one only but it won’t be that gory.

The Daredevil actor had made a request to all the fans out there to keep a broad perspective while watching the series. He adds, “Let’s take the things that really worked, but can we broaden? Can we appeal to a slightly younger audience without losing what we’ve learned about what works?”

The shooting of Daredevil Born Again will begin in 2023. It will start in the month of February and the shoots will wrap up by December 2023.
