Challengers For WWE’s Unified Champion Following WrestleMania 38

Both major world championships will be on the line in a Winner Takes All Unification Match when The Beast Incarnate battles The Tribal Chief at AT&T Stadium on Arlington, Texas. The bout will be the third time both the wrestlers will collided on the main stage at The Show of Shows. The company has put all its force behind pushing the meeting between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar as the biggest match. There aren’t many stars that’d be worthy of challenging the Unified Champion after The Show of Shows. Many performers have been booked well below Reigns and Lesnar. Either man could walk out with the title.

Potential challengers for WWE’s Unified Champion following WrestleMania-

Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley lost his WWE Championship at the Men’s Elimination Chamber PPV in Saudi Arabia. Lashley was never pinned for his WWE title. He was taken out of the Elimination Chamber Match to mask a lingering injury. Brock Lesnar went on to win the match. Because of that, The Allmighty has a legitimate claim after WrestleMania. Since Lashley will likely miss WrestleMania, a post-event feud would best use his star power. He and Reigns never faced off while both were champions. Reigns defeated both Big E and Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series in between Lashley’s reigns.

Seth Rollins

The two have a lot of history together and have teased a title match for a while, despite both being heels. They faced each other at the Royal Rumble 2022. The match ended with Roman refusing to leave the guillotine even though Seth had touched the ropes resulting in Roman getting disqualified. This can serve as a story for their feud. WWE can have good television segments with these two. While Rollins did face Reigns at the Madison Square Garden show, the bout wasn’t on TV. For that reason, Rollins should get a rematch. He’s also one of the top stars in WWE and has a history with both men.

Drew McIntyre

The Scottish Warrior has been toiling away in a feud with Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss. While the angle has elevated Moss, it seems below the former WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre is the sole main event babyface on the Blue brand. The “Scottish Warrior” can be the one to dethrone Reigns and be the next face of WWE. Drew had two WWE Championship reigns but both had no crowd to cheer and make the occasion a big one. Now with the crowd back Roman Reigns can give McIntyre the coronation he deserves.

Roman Reigns has never defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Brock does have a habit shocking the WWE universe. But Roman has to get this win and get this negative record removed. WrestleMania 38 main event is been billed as “The Biggest WrestleMania Match Of All Time” by the WWE.
