Celebrating National Doctors’ Day, Bollywood celebs pay tribute to the true heroes

On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, actors Sonakshi Sinha, Shruti Haasan, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra spoke with us, praising doctors for their contributions during the pandemic.

On National Doctors Day, Bollywood stars pay tribute to the strong spirits of our healthcare workers, who risked their own and their families’ lives to save millions of lives during the Covid-19 crisis.

Our doctors and healthcare staff have been true heroes, fighting hard and protecting us all throughout this pandemic. They’ve been battling Covid-19’s burning war with incomparable compassion, and they’ve never failed to encouraged in all of us.

The true heroes are doctors. They showed, like Army officials, that they were frontline heroes who saved tens of thousands of lives in the first and second surges. Every person in this country and around the world should be grateful to doctors for protecting and guarding their families.

We should honour all doctors and healthcare workers for their spirit and unselfish care not only today, but every day. No word can express the amount of effort and effort that doctors have put in over the last year and a half.

I just want to express my gratitude to our doctors. I don’t believe we have a clue about what they’ve been through emotionally, physically, or mentally through these trying times. I lost a great friend as a result of Covid-19, and I know the people who were there to help those who were impacted.
