Cardi B apparently has men lining up to woo her since the rapper’s recent split from Offset, her husband of three years. The WAP hitmaker recently went live on her OnlyFans account, where she spilled the tea on her newly single life in a candid update on September 23.
“I could date any man I want”
The 27 year old first started by addressing her viewers about her divorce on the subscription-based service. Cardi began, saying, “You cannot hurt my feelings trying to throw the divorce in my face. Because, at the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave.”
The Rapper continued, emphasizing on how she left the marriage on her own will. “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again,” Cardi explained. “I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved, I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave,” she clarified.
The Grammy winner also spoke about how she saw her divorce as a potential opportunity to “rebirth” herself, saying, “I could date any man I want.” However, she is choosing to stay single. Cardi even revealed, “My DMs (on Instagram) are flooded. I don’t actually want to date nobody. I’m so focused on my business that it’s crazy.”
“I don’t have a bad relationship with my baby father at all”
Earlier this month, the “Bodak Yellow” singer announced that she and her rapper husband, Offset, had decided to call it quits after three years of marriage. Cardi filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse stating that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”
The “Drip” hitmaker is also seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture, after originally filing for sole custody. During her live event on OnlyFans, Cardi also touched upon her relationship with the Migos Member and where she stands with him currently.
“I don’t have a bad relationship with my baby father. At all,” the actress admitted. “I don’t have no hatred towards him. And I don’t wish him nothing bad and I know that he feels the same way about me.”
According to sources, an insider revealed that the estranged former pair are “parenting Kulture but are no longer acting as a couple.” The source also added that “there does not seem to be a chance for reconciliation for the two of them.” However, the news has ‘torn’ their friends because, “they have such a deep love for each other and their lives are so intertwined.” Cardi and Offset are both expected to appear in court on November 4, later this year.
“I want to let you know I have not shed not one tear”
On a September 18 Instagram live stream, a few weeks back, Cardi opened up in a candid conversation about the separation, during which she revealed that she’s “not hurt” about ending her marriage.
Cardi even thanked her fans for the outpouring love and support she was showered with amid her divorce, “I want to say thank you so much. However, like, I don’t really need it. I’m okay.” The singer consoled her fans saying, “I want to let you know I have not shed not one tear.”
“I just got tired of f—ing arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye,” the “I Like It” rapper added. “When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave,” she explained. “Nothing crazy, out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart.”
The rapper continued, explaining, “I [have] been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man. Sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build-up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.”
Cardi also hit back at people who claimed that she had ended their marriage for ‘clout’ or as a ‘publicity stunt,’ Cleverly pointing out that she’s had the number one single in the US with WAP, for four weeks. ‘I don’t do stunts. I don’t need stunts. And I don’t need any stunts that comes to family to sell anything. I don’t understand why people want the reason for the divorce to be something so, so bad,’ she told fans in the Instagram live.
