Capt Vikram Batra’s twin Vishal narrates a scene that “stayed” with him in Shershaah

Captain Vikram Batra’s twin brother, Vishal Batra, praises Shershaah and Sidharth Malhotra’s portrayal of the Kargil War hero. Vishal and Sidharth sat together and discussed the film in a video that was released online. Vishal also shared a moment from the movie that had an emotional impact on him.

Shershaah, directed by Vishnu Varadhan, tells the story of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra, who was killed in the Kargil War while on duty. Sidharth plays him, and Kiara Advani plays his girlfriend Dimple Cheema in the film. On August 12, the film was released on Amazon Prime.

Words From Vikram’s Twin Brother

“Let me be really honest with you: when I first met you, you were quite charming. We discovered a very experienced actor beneath your pleasant personality when we started making the film during the transition. And at that point, we decided that you were the best candidate for bringing Vikram to the big screen. Vishal said Sidharth, “I think the way you went into the nitty-gritty and details of him as an individual is truly worth admiring.”

“You must remember when Vikram was posted in Sopore and you needed a cup of tea and you went to a seller and he has a son. The way you talk about what your son is doing, whether he wants to study or where he wants to go in life, reminds me of Vikram’s personality.

Vikram was a gentle and caring individual. He continued, “I think that is incredibly beautiful and what I liked about the movie.”

Vishal remarked that seeing Sidharth in the uniform reminded him of his brother. He explained, “Of course, I had all those emotions rushing through my body and I could sense Vikram standing in front of me.” “Whenever I think about Vikram now, I see the man in uniform, because I couldn’t see Vikram during the last conflict, therefore the last image I have now is you,” he added later.
