Calvin Klein’s Website Goes Down With High Traffic After BLACKPINK Jennie’s New Global Campaign

Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK, who also goes by the name Jennie Ruby Jane, literally broke the internet with her recent global campaign with Calvin Klein. As soon as her pictures from the new photoshoot were revealed, Jennie became a trending topic globally. Soon afterward her photos were posted on Calvin Klein’s official website. Fans rushed to buy the fit Jennie was wearing in the photos (which soon went out of stock). As a result of high traffic, the website eventually shut down. After the release of the campaign, Calvin Klein also became the #1 trending brand in South Korea, which proves Jennie’s unparalleded commercial influence and brand power.

The superstar had stylish micro bangs, a white sports bra, and bold denim items for the current campaign. The new Calvin Klein collection emphasises exploring shapes while feeling at ease with one’s own sexuality.

BLACKPINK’s fashion-forward reputation has been greatly influenced by Jennie, often known as the Global IT Girl. The K-Pop artist has also been referred to as the “Human Chanel” and “Human Gucci.”

Her fashion collection includes niche brands like Marine Serre and Richard Quinn in addition to Gucci and Saint Laurent. Jennie was invited to major events including Prada’s Comics Collection Launch Party, Chanel’s Mademoiselle Privé show, and Anthony Vaccarello’s Summer 17 Collection Launch Party thanks to her keen sense of style. Chanel selected her as the House Ambassador because of her vast commercial influence. When Jennie performed her first song “Solo,” the five-by-five division of hairpins she wore became known as “Jennie’s hairpins” and quickly went viral in South Korea.

Jennie is known for her brand recognition and marketing power, having placed first on the Korean Business Research Institute’s monthly “Individual Girl Group Members Brand Power Ranking” for most months among female Korean celebs.

Jennie was the first BLACKPINK member to go “SOLO” in 2018. She again debuted a new song “YOU&ME” at BLACKPINK’s born pink world tour. She will make her much-awaited debuted as an actress in HBO’s “The Idol” starring as one of the leads alongside The Weeknd and Lili Rose-Depp.
