BTS fans were in for a treat when they attended Suga’s Agust D Tour concert in Newark on April 29, 2023. Not only did they get to witness Suga’s amazing solo performance, but they also got a glimpse of another BTS member – Jungkook. Well, sort of.
Jungkook, who is currently the global brand ambassador for Calvin Klein, made a “special” appearance at Suga’s tour thanks to a fan who brought a banner of his Calvin Klein campaign. The banner showed Jungkook posing shirtless with a denim jacket, one of the images from his spring 2023 collection with the fashion brand.
The fan held up the banner during Suga’s performance on stage.
Suga recently became the fifth member of BTS to go solo as he released his debut studio album D-DAY. It was released on April 21, 2023, through Big Hit Music, as the third installment in a trilogy of works that includes the mixtapes Agust D (2016) and D-2 (2020). Comprising 10 tracks, the album features appearances by BTS bandmate J-Hope, IU, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Woosung of the Rose. Two singles were released in promotion of the project: “People Pt. 2” featuring IU on April 7, and “Haegeum”, which premiered alongside the album. Music videos accompanied both singles, with a third released for the track “Amygdala” on April 24.
On his tour, Suga performs some his biggest hits such as “Moonlight”, “Haegeum”, “Daechwita”, and “Agust D”. On his latest show in Newark on 29th April, a fan brought a banner of Jungkook’s calvin klein campaign. Even though Jungkook couldn’t attend his show in person, fans made sure he was included.
Jungkook has been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time and was thrilled to be their newest global ambassador. He said that this partnership was very special to him as Calvin Klein’s heritage and brand values resonated with him. He also said that he wanted to connect with his fans in a new way through this partnership and show them a new side of him.
Jungkook is one of the world’s most popular artists and has a rare ability to connect with international audiences through both his music and his style. He joined Calvin Klein as their global ambassador in March, 2023, and was photographed by Park Jong Ha for their spring 2023 collection. Jimin, who is in the US currently for Tiffany & Co & MET Gala, was spotted attending Suga’s show.
