BTS Taehyung, also known as V, is not only a global superstar but also a kind-hearted person who loves animals. His fans were touched by his recent act of generosity toward Perro, a dog he befriended during his appearance on the Korean TV show Jinny’s Kitchen.
Jinny’s Kitchen was a reality show that followed actor Lee Seojin and his team as they opened a Korean street food restaurant in Mexico. The team included Taehyung and his friends from the Wooga Squad, actors Park Seojoon and Choi Wooshik. Taehyung worked as an intern on the show, while Seojoon was the general manager and Wooshik was another intern. The show was a huge success, both in Korea and internationally, as it showcased the team’s hilarious antics, cultural challenges and heartwarming bond.
One of the most memorable aspects of the show was Taehyung’s interaction with Perro, a stray dog who often visited the restaurant. Taehyung, who is known for his love of dogs and has a pet dog named Yeontan, quickly developed a close relationship with Perro. According to a Mexican fan whose mother works at a veterinary clinic, Taehyung paid for Perro’s vaccinations and treatment for his injured paw. He also made sure that Perro was adopted by one of the staff members of Jinny’s Kitchen who lived in Mexico. Thanks to Taehyung’s kindness, Perro now has a loving home and a healthy life.
