The Grammy-nominated BTS, a acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan or Beyond the Scene, is a South Korean boy band that has captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world since its inception in June 2013.
BTS members are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. At this point, if you don’t know who BTS is you would be losing a lot in life. After making history with their Grammy nominations, BTS now has another record in their kitty.
BRIT Awards Nomination
BTS became the first Korean artist in history to be nominated for the BRIT Awards. The nominations for the BRIT Awards 2021 were announced on March 31 where the South Korean band will be placed in the International Group category.
There is a lot to applaud given the fact that they have been working in the UK for a while now but have now received nominations.
BTS was nominated for Best Pop Duo / Performance Group at 63 Grammy Awards and gave impressive performances to their song ‘Dynamite’. They are known for many prestigious awards such as the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards.
Back in 2020, BTS released two Korean albums ‘Soul Map: 7’ and ‘BE (Deluxe Edition)’ as well as several solo projects and a Japanese album Japanese album ‘Map Of The Soul: 7 – The Journey’.

They work hard to safely stay connected to their fans and the world despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 – the septet also kicked off 2021 with more incredible accolades.
The band recently hit number three IFPI charts, including the Global Artist Chart, and was named “The Greatest Pop Star of 2020” by Billboard.
