BTS’ Jin Leaves Heartfelt Message For ARMYs Before Enlistment

BTS’ Jin surprised his fans on January 9th, by posting a video recording of him sharing a heartfelt message. The video was taken before the singer’s enlistment in the army.

Jin has posted for the very first time ever since he left where he talked about his enlisting in the military. This video was taken on the sets of SBS’ Running Man. The idol shared how he would not be a civilian anymore when this video is released.

But he made sure to record before leaving so that his fans have something to hold onto. The singer ensured that he will be sharing these videos every couple of months updating his fans or ARMYs. Jin also said that he might not be there by their side but he will be watching over them.

He added, “So if you just wait a little bit, I’ll be back soon. That’s all for today. Next time, when I have the chance, I’ll be back with another video.” The oldest member of the K-pop band, BTS, officially enlisted in the Korean military.

Jin was assigned to the fifth Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon County of Gyeonggi Province. The other six members of BTS came to show their support and dropped Jin off in the military. They gave fans an OT7 moment for ages to come.

This video was the very first one he sent as an update since the enlistment. Jin has already been in the military for a month now. Fans were emotional when they saw the video and his message for them. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts regarding the situation.

ARMYs noticed with their eagle eye that the video was posted at 12.04 pm KST, which is the exact time of BTS Jin’s birth time. BTS‘ agency, BIG HIT Music requested fans not to send presents and letters. They explained how every soldier has limited space and presents, letters would get misplaced, lost, or destroyed.

To make up for the no-presents situation, the agency asked fans to write letters and messages with Weversed with the hashtag “Dear Jin From ARMY”.
