BTS Is Going Into Hiatus With Members Focusing On Solo Music

BTS has confirmed in a recent anniversary live session with fans that the group is going into a hiatus (as SUGA said). The hiatus was kind of expected as the members continued to put emphasis on the fact that the proof anthology album concludes the first chapter of their music career.

The members also confirmed that they will be focusing on their solo music career for now until the group makes an OT7 comeback in the future.

Talking about the hiatus RM aka Kim Namjoon said, “[After releasing singles Butter & Permission to Dance] right now, we’ve lost our direction and I just want to take some time to think”.

Discussing the solo activities, the members said that they will focus on individual member activities and that they will start to release official albums instead of mixtapes.

Things got a lil too emotional when fans heart RM say “We won’t get to gather like this for a while” [in front of cameras]”

Even the members themselves weren’t able to hold back their tears as we saw Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, and Namjoon crying with their fans.

“You were with us for almost 10 years. We’re each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things. We promise we will return someday even more mature than we are now. I hope that you could give us your blessing” said Jungkook.

During the live it was also confirmed that Jimin is currently working on new music.

BTS recently released their much anticipated anthology album titled PROOF which continues to break and make records, with songs like the lead single Yet To Come and Run BTS being discussed everywhere on social media.
