Not the only Vanderpump Mom-to-be

Cartwright also shared several photos from the celebration, including the moment the pair learned the sex of their baby via a blue confetti popper. Another photo showed a vast amount of blue dye overtaking a swimming pool in the couple’s backyard. Brittany and Jax’s Vanderpump Rules co-stars Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder and Lala Kent were also in attendance for the gender reveal celebration. Turns out, Cartwright is not the only Vanderpump mom-to-be, as both Stassi and Lala are pregnant with baby girls themselves.

“A hockey playing heartbreaker on the way,” Kent commented on Cartwright’s post, referencing Taylor’s favorite sport. While Schroeder wrote, “A little boyfriendddddd!! Ahhhhhh!!.”

“We are totally over the moon!! We are shocked beyond belief!! This is truly a dream come true for Jax especially and we just can’t wait to meet our little prince!!” the expectant parents revealed in a recent interview.

In terms of the Gender reveal celebrations itself, there was a voting booth set-up that encouraged guests to predict what gender Jax and Brittany’s baby would be. An open bar could be seen in the background in one of the videos, which was overrun with pink and blue solo cups. There were also a ton of pink and blue deserts and the backyard was decorated in a slew of pink, white, and gold balloons.

As for what food was on the menu, Brittany and Jax provided guests with a giant charcuterie board filled with various fruits and cheeses. There were also burgers, jalapeno poppers, french fries, and biscuits up for grabs.

“We had been trying for around five months”

The couple’s gender reveal comes less than a week after Brittany and Jax revealed that they were expecting their first child together. The pair, who got married in June 2019, in front of 240 friends and family at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky, was ecstatic to announce their pregnancy.

Brittany took to Instagram on Monday to share the happy news, posting a photo of the couple sitting together on their staircase and holding up their ultrasound images. ‘Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon.’ Brittany wrote in the caption.

Describing her excitement when the Bravo star found out she was pregnant, Brittany said, “We had been trying for around five months and we just can’t wait to grow our family. I had the ovulation sticks and all the apps… we were ready to go!” she said. “I woke up super early to go to the restroom and just had a feeling I should take a test and it was positive!! I cried, I laughed, we were just so happy!! Then I took three more tests and cried some more.”

Cartwright, who is due in April 2021, added at the time, “I can’t wait to start shopping and getting the nursery ready. I am just so overjoyed and every day I fall more in love. Boy or girl, we are just so ecstatic!!”

“I think I will continue to look at the baby name list until the day they are born!”

Taylor, who lost his dad, Ronald Cauchi, to cancer in 2017, said he plans to “follow his playbook” when it comes to parenting.

“I am really excited to be a father,” he said. “My dad was my hero. He passed three years ago and I can honestly say my parents gave me the best childhood a kid could ask for. I can’t wait to go to games, dance recitals, and school functions. My dad was always there for me in every way, so I am just gonna follow his playbook, say a few prayers and hopefully God willing, everything will fall into place like it did for me.”

In terms of deciding on a name for their little one, the couple previously revealed in an interview, “We have a name for a girl but not sure about a boy’s name yet! I think I will continue to look at the baby name list until the day they are born!” Cartwright said at the time.
