Britney Spears’ Former Husband Pleads Not Guilty For Crashing Her Wedding

Britney Spears’ former husband Jason Alexander has officially pleaded of not guilty after he had attempted to crash at the singer’s wedding with Sam Asghari which took place during last month at her residence. As per the reports Britney’s former husband Jason Alexander was arraigned on the criminal complaint in Ventura County Superior Court via Zoom. He has entered into a not guilty plea on all the counts, which included one felony count of stalking with a prior domestic violence conviction and three misdemeanor counts of aggravated trespassing, refusing to leave private property, vandalism and battery. 

Talking about the relationship of Britney and Jason, the duo had tied the knot and was married for two days back in 2004. Regarding the recent attempt to crash her wedding, Britney’s former husband was seen doing the same during the Instagram live session. In the live session Alexander was calling himself as the first husband of Britney.

As of now Alexander is also facing a special enhancement charge as because he was on the probation due to an unrelated case out of Tennessee during that time of his alleged crimes in California although he has denied the special charge allegation also. Meanwhile the next hearing of the Alexander case is set for August 2. As per the reports it is said that, Spears’ former husband remains in jail in the lieu of $100,000 bail and also faces up to five years in prison if he is convicted.  

Alexander’s Bail was Reviewed During the Earlier Scheduled Hearing  

Alexander was held by the deputies responding to a trespassing call and after that he was arrested because they discovered he had a warrant out of another county, as per the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. During the earlier scheduled hearing, Alexander’s bail was reviewed. During the wedding day of Britney it was also reported by her security guard that, Alexander had tried “multiple times” to open the singer’s locked bedroom door which was there on the second floor of the mansion but even after trying was unsuccessful. After his attempt of crashing her wedding, Spears was granted a restraining order against her ex-husband and she reportedly also changed her security team.
