In one of her interviews, Iman have spoken about how she got the role of Ms. Marvel. She explained how on the last day of her high school, she got a call from Marvel studios casting director who asked her to come on a zoom call real quick. When she joins the meeting, it was Kevin Feige and other directors and producers on the call. That’s when Kevin Feige reveals to her that they want Iman to be Ms. Marvel and the actor was in complete shock.
