Brie Larson has shared a new photo of herself posing with Zawe Ashton, who plays the villain in Marvel’s The Avengers.
Larson initially played Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, the superhero’s first solo film, in 2019. Captain Marvel later returned for Avengers: Endgame to aid the team in defeating Thanos before appearing in the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings mid-credits scene.
Captain Marvel received mixed reviews upon its original release, although Disney announced a sequel at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019.
Captain Marvel 2 Villain Actor
There isn’t much information regarding Captain Marvel 2’s plot at this time. Larson will reprise her role as Carol Danvers, and Teyonah Parris will reprise her role as Monica Rambeau, who previously starred on WandaVision. Iman Vellani, a newcomer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will play Ms. Marvel in the film.
It’s possible that the events in Vellani’s Disney+ series, which premieres next year, may set up the scenario for The Marvels in 2023. In addition to these three superheroes, The Marvels include Park Seo-Joon in an unspecified role and Ashton, who is rumored to be the sequel’s villain.
Larson recently shared three images of herself with Ashton on Instagram. Larson, who is dressed in a Villain Lovers Club sweater, encourages people to start guessing about Captain Marvel 2’s villain.
The following is the actress’ original post:
Disney has yet to begin promoting The Marvels 2, despite the fact that the film is still over a year away. Despite the fact that Disney hasn’t revealed anything about the sequel, Larson is quite active on social media and frequently posts workout photographs and videos of her superhero training.
The videos may not provide any plot specifics about the sequel, but a new logo for The Marvels was revealed in a post at the beginning of December. The sequel’s filming is said to have ended at the end of November, so new images from the film could be revealed shortly, but an official trailer and poster are unlikely to be released anytime soon.
