However, Tuesday also turned out to be a big day for Jennifer Aniston. She received her first Emmy nomination after 11 years. The actress was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for The Morning Show.

Meanwhile, Brad did a surprise SNL cameo that aired on April 25. He introduced the show as Fauci while making his inaugural appearance on the iconic show in over 20 years. The appearance came a few weeks after Fauci said in a CNN interview that, if enacted on SNL, he’d loved to be impersonated by Brad.

Brad’s Perfect Fauci Impersonation

The hilarious opening showed Brad’s Fauci addressing the American people. He also makes fun of President Donald Trump on his remarks against the global pandemic. By the end of the skit, Brad removed his wig and addressed the real Fauci. “Thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time,” Pitt said. “And thank you to the medical workers, first responders and their families, for being on the front line.”

Following Pitt’s skit, which went viral, Fauci himself celebrated the Oscar winner’s performance. He said Brad did a great job. Fauci said in an interview with Un Nuevo Dia on NBC sibling Telemundo. “I’m a great fan of Brad Pitt, and that’s the reason why when people ask me who I would like to play me, I mention Brad Pitt. He’s one of my favorite actors. I think he did a great job.”
