Bobby Lashley Returns And Challenges Omos At WrestleMania 38

Bobby Lashley has been sidelined since the WWE Elimination Chamber in February, where he lost the WWE title to current champion Brock Lesnar. After being sidelined from the Chamber game due to an official injury sustained last month in winning the championship at the Royal Rumble against Lesnar. Lashley reportedly did not need surgery for a shoulder injury, but returned earlier than usual with reports that veteran Superstar had been on the shelf for about 4 months.

In the Elimination Chamber match Bobby never entered the ring to compete against the challengers. Seth Rollins hit Austin Theory with the buckle powerbomb on Lashley’s pod. The glass of Lashley’s pod broke and Austin Theory landed on Bobby Lashley. The officials took Lashley out of the match and Lashely did not return after that in the match. WWE updated it as a concussion protocol which was a storyline to take Lashley out of action. This was done so that Bobby can take out time for his shoulder injury.

Today’s RAW saw Omos win another two on one handicap match, this time against the Viking Raiders. The fast-paced match ended badly on Count Out after Omos threw Erik and sent him down. Kevin Patrick interviewed Omos after the fight, and dismissed the notion that anyone can stand him at WrestleMania 38. He was stating that he was undefeated and able to dominate everyone.

Bobby Lashley returns

Bobby Lashley’s music then hit and the All Mighty came out to babyface pop, with no MVP hints. Lashley and Omos went through it and while Omos was in power, Lashley ripped off a piece of cloth and finally pulled the tall man out of his feet by crashing into the middle of the ring. Omos put Lashley back in the ring when Lashley taunted him in the ring. Fans chanted “Bobby!” looking up at the WrestleMania 38 sign, and Omos nodded.

Omos has had many single’s match and Handicap Match he has won since defeating his former tag team partner AJ Styles in the January 3 RAW episode. He has not been defeated by the wrestlers in the matches since the August 30 RAW victory over John Morrison. But before that he lost one TV match and that was the current RAW Tag team Champion Randy Orton on August 16 RAW.
