BLACKPINK fans have taken to social media to express their excitement after reports stated that the group’s member, Lisa is supposedly filming for her debut solo release.
Previously, fans had suspected and demanded her to depart from BLACKPINK due to the lack of news regarding her solo debut. They had taken to social media then and started the trend on Twitter. Lisa’s fans hoped for any kind of news related to her but were disappointed with the lack of communication from YG Entertainment.
The girl band have excelled expectations and smashed numerous records together. Blackpink debuted in 2016 as the 4-member girl group soon became fan-favourites. YG had Jennie from the group make her solo debut in 2018 with Solo to explore the group’s potential. The fans waited for more news about the other three members of the group.
In 2019, YG announced that Rose, Jisoo, and Lisa will all make their solo debut soon. Rose released her solo debut, On the Ground earlier this year. Through time, fans became impatient with the lack of information regarding Jisoo and Lisa. The label had revealed that Lisa’s solo is ready and Jisoo is still preparing for her solo.
Fans took a step forward and spoke out against the alleged mistreatment of the K-Pop star. Many fans urged that she leaves the group for her well-being and fueled rumours of departure. However, today, a reporter on South Korea’s OSEN reported that Lisa would begin filming for her music video of her solo debut this week.

Blackpink fans could not keep calm and immediately started discussing her debut. ‘Lisa Solo Soon’ began trending on Twitter. Both fans and non-fans are hyped about Lisa’s debut solo and its potential release date. The Blackpink member has already proved that she is multi-talented as she has excelled in dancing, singing as well as rapping.
Lisa has been releasing project videos under the name, ‘LILI’s FILM’. She collaborated with international choreographers in those videos and showed fans her dance skills. It is natural that fans have high expectations from her debut.
