BLACKPINK Set To Make History As The First K-Pop Group To Headline Coachella

It is time for the BLINKs to celebrate as BLACKPINK officially returns to Coachella, this time as one of the headliners. HITS Daily Double has confirmed that Bad Bunny, Frank Ocean, and BLACKPINK will headline Coachella 2023.

BLACKPINK made their much-awaited comeback in August with their pre-release single titled Pink Venom. Later on, they debuted their second studio album with the title track “Shut Down”.

Both singles from Born Pink reached number one on the Billboard Global 200. Both singles also made history by becoming the only K-Pop/Korean songs to debut at #1 on Global Spotify (Daily) Chart. Shut Down became the first K-Pop song to reach #1 on Global Spotify Weekly Chart. Born Pink recorded 2.2 Million sales, becoming the best-selling album by a girl group in South Korea and the first to surpass two million sales.

The group expects the new year to be even bigger as they gear up for significant events and releases. It has already been made known that Jennie will be appearing on HBO’s The Idol, which also features The Weeknd and Lily Rose-Depp. BLACKPINK will play at London’s Hyde Park, it has also been announced. Jisoo will also make her solo debut in 2023, according to a statement from YG Entertainment.

It has now been confirmed that BLACKPINK will headline Coachella. BLACKPINK is also strongly rumored to perform at The Town in Brazil, which will take place in September this year.
