Beyoncé Fans Declare New Banger Break My Soul a “Gay Anthem”

With the Big Freedia-assisted Break My Soul, Beyoncé has finally made her comeback.

Break My Soul is the first single off the singer’s highly anticipated seventh studio album Renaissance, and it’s a thundering, 90s-inspired dance smash that borrows Robin S’ classic Show Me Love and Freedia’s bounce tune Explode extensively.

Freedia, who previously worked with Beyoncé on her 2016 hit Formation, said it “feels surreal” to be working with her again.

Freedia, who previously collaborated with the icon on her 2016 single Formation, said it “feels surreal” to be on another track with Beyoncé and is “so honoured to be apart of this special moment”.
