Beyoncé Expresses Her Love For Meghan Markle’s Courage

Beyoncé shows her love for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

The celebrity singer on Tuesday posted a message of support on her website, writing, “Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”

Beyoncé’s message comes a few days after Meghan’s and Prince Harry’s whistleblower interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which the couple spoke for the first time since leaving their positions as senior members of the British family.

In a statement, Meghan disclosed that the harassment from British newspapers had a huge toll on her mental health and also publicly alleged that a senior royal had “concerns and conversations” about how dark their son Archie’s skin would be.

Revelations

The former actress revealed that she never fully understood what it meant to be working as a royal. Meghan and Harry had officially stepped down from their roles as senior royals last year. it was their desire to have a normal family life that played a role in their decision which shook everyone.

Meghan further revealed that her sister-in-law Kate Middleton made her cry in the days that led up to her wedding. The duchess talked about the tabloid stories which included one that she allegedly made Kate cry. Meghan said, “the narrative with Kate, which didn’t happen, was really, really difficult and I think that’s when everything changed, really.”

On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace issued a statement on behalf of the Queen saying allegations of racism by Sussex were “considered extremely serious.”

Beyonce’s Meet With The Royals

Beyoncé, who met royalty during the “Lion King” debut, has previously shown her support for the former Hollywood actress Meghan. In 2019, Jay-Z and Beyoncé received the Brit Award for a video, which was filmed with a picture of Meghan as Mona Lisa in the background.
