Making his foray in 2012, he worked as a brand director at the luxury staple Helmut Lang. Hugo Boss, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent and Off-White are some of the best luxury fashion brands with whom Bagdat Gurbanov has closely worked with. With his designs, he has influenced many other designers in terms of creativity. The graphics, colour palettes, original fonts and garment silhouettes created by him show his creativity who has given a new meaning to fashion. Now with technology, Bagdat Gurbanov is reshaping the luxury fashion industry. “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have already started doing wonders in terms of personalized experiences, customer feedback, chatbot and other AR and VR installation to enable consumers to be a part of it”, said Gurbanov.
For his brand which was launched at the start of 2019, Bagdat is hopeful to bridge fashion and technology together. The Russia-based luxury fashion label will create a storm with its never seen before designs. “Quality and sustainability will be on a completely different level”, he added. The versatile designer for his work has earned praises from many established names from the fashion industry including Virgil Abloh, Demna Gvasalia, Heron Preston and Marcelo Burlon. He is currently experimenting with diverse designs and having technology by his side, things have become pretty much easier for this highly talented guy.
