Bad Bunny Will Make His Acting Debut In ‘Narcos’ Season 3

Bad Bunny is set to make his acting debut in season three of the highly-anticipated series, Narcos. He has been officially cast in the Netflix series and will be playing Arturo.

The rapper will step into the role of Arturo “Kitty” Paez, who will be one of the members of Ramon Arellano Felix’s gang called Narco Juniors. In the series, the gang consists of rich, well-connected kids from upper society who have jumbled their lives for money, drugs, and violence.

The news comes with other casting updates like Luis Gerardo Mendez being roped in to play Victor Tapia. Alberto Guerra will be playing the role of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada and Luisa Rubino will be playing Andrea Nunez.

Narcos: Mexico Has Some Major Changes

Netflix had confirmed the third installment of the series, Narcos: Mexico in October. They also confirmed major changes in the next season which included Diego Luna’s return as Felix Gallard. The changes also included the comeback of Scoot McNairy, José Maria Yazpik, Alberto Ammann, Alfonso Dosal, Mayra Hermosillo, Matt Letscher, Manuel Masalva, Alejandro Edda, and Gorka Lasaosa.

The description of the third season of Narcos reads as follows: “Set in the ’90s, when the globalization of the drug business ignites, season three examines the war that breaks out after Felix’s empire splinters. As newly independent cartels struggle to survive political upheaval and escalating violence, a new generation of Mexican kingpins emerge. But in this war, truth is the first casualty—and every arrest, murder, and take-down only pushes real victory further away.” 

Bad Bunny had opened up about shattering the machismo Latinx stereotype through his fashion, songs, and music videos. He had shared how good it feels because he is using his impact on something positive. The Puerto Rican rapper had revealed it feels good to lead people just by the way he lives or by being himself.

He said, To lead so many people just by the way I live, by being myself; to motivate people to be free and liberated to be themselves, it feels good. Any time you can make someone feel good, it’s the best thing. It’s infectious, and that’s how you end up feeling good yourself.”
