Randy Orton

Backstage WWE Information Regarding Randy Orton’s Injury

Randy Orton is now out of action as of RKBro’s match against The Usos on WWE SmackDown on May 20, 2022, in a fight which Unified RKBro’s Raw Tag Team Championships and The Usos’ SmackDown Tag Team Championships. The Usos won the match, and afterward, The Usos & Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns attacked RKBro, which was the last time Orton was seen live to this day.

Orton’s most recent appearance was on the June 27, 2022 episode of WWE Raw, when he sent in a clip congratulating John Cena on his 20th year with the company. The reason for Orton’s absence from television is not story-driven, as he is recovering from a major back injury, and a new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter does not indicate an imminent return. Meltzer asserted that those in WWE are concerned about Orton’s back injury and its consequence.

To fully deliver Orton’s finishing manoeuvre, the RKO, Orton must jump into the air, grab his opponents by the neck, and bring them down to the mat face first while landing on his back. Orton has used this move almost his entire WWE professional life, and he, like Cena, decided to celebrate his 20-year commemoration on the April 25 show of Raw, wrestling in an eight-man tag team fight on that night.

Randy Orton’s Retirement Date

Orton defeated Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and The Usos with the help of Ezekiel, Riddle, and former Legacy stablemate Cody Rhodes. Orton has won the Royal Rumble in 2009 and 2017, the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2013, two WrestleManias, & 14 World Championships in his 20-year WWE professional life.

Kim Orton has a simple answer for how long her husband, Randy Orton, will continue to compete inside the circle. She told him he could stay as long as he wanted. This year marks the Viper’s 20th year in business, mostly at the highest levels of the industry. While it’s unclear how much longer Randy plans to wrestle, he’s previously stated, I’ve got one more decade in me and his wife didn’t disagree.

Randy will be fine until he declares, You understand what, I do not even feel like doing an RKO any more though, she says. Randy has been associated mainly with his biggest rival, John Cena, all through his career, as the two men worked their way into wrestling next to each other.

Orton and Cena have always been two sides of the same coin, and have often been evaluated in terms of in-ring ability and accomplishments, from being in the same class at Ohio Valley Wrestling to competing in countless matches against one another on the main roster. However, this is not the only comparison that occurs. Kim revealed on the fact that people frequently ask Randy, Are you John Cena?
