Bachelorette’s Tayshia Adams Wishes Clare Crawley Warned Her About Some Guys

Tayshia Adams talked about her new role and journey to find love on The Bachelorette. The new lady who stepped into Clare Crawley’s shoes opened up about the show in Jimmy Kimmel Live.

She explained that she received a call from the ABC executives around summer. The new Bachelorette explained that the call was obviously to step into Clare’s place as she chose her love from the show. However, she revealed that the details of why she was brought into the show were not revealed.

Tayshia said, “Honestly I got the phone call and it was more so, ‘Hey you’re the girl,’ and I’m like, ‘I got you.’ And I was there.” She further recalled that everything was moving quickly and they did not share the news about Clare leaving with Dale Moss, with her.

The Bachelorette also revealed that she had to sort out a few things before she headed over to the resort in Palm Springs, California. She shared that she had to go run as she had eaten two donuts and she had to scream into a pillow. The leading lady also said that she had to call her mother and inform her.

Tayshia said, “I haven’t put on makeup in literally three months, I need to go to CVS, I’m gonna be kissing boys I need a toothbrush, I need mouthwash…so I left within 48 hours or so.” She revealed that she had to quarantine for a long time before entering the show.

The bachelorette shared that she was later on moved into Clare’s suite which was called, ‘El Presidente’. She now calls it, ‘Tayshia’s Presidente’. Jimmy teased her saying it was the room where Clare and Dale made love. She admitted that she thought about that before entering the suite.

Tayshia Wishes She Was Warned About Certain Guys

However, she said, “Good thing I saged the place, you know what I mean? We got some good juju in there.” The new bachelorette revealed that she did not meet Clare before she left the show with Dale. She revealed that wished she had but a lot of things were going on.

Tayshia said, “We didn’t speak, she had just gotten engaged so there was a lot going on.” However, she wished that they could have warned her about a guy or two. As for Clare, in Thursday’s episode, the former Bachelorette broke up with the other 16 contestants to begin a relationship with Dale.

Clare and Dale got to have a one-on-one date without the other guys. Chris Harrison, who hosted the show revealed that the next step would be an engagement. And that is exactly what happened.

Dale got his Neil Lane ring to the resort in Palm Springs and popped the question. According to the “normal” Bachelorette or Bachelor, it comes down to two potential suitors before picking the one who they want to spend their lives with. However, Clare did that in the fourth week which gave both Bachelor Nation and fans quite the shock.

As the other guys were packing their bags, host Chris gave them a choice. He told them they could stay if they want to and get another chance to find love. They were given an entire day to decide and they all chose to stay and give it another chance.

Adams’ Entry And Clare’s Exit

This is when Tayshia stepped into the picture and talked to Chris. Meanwhile, the guys had no idea it was her they were going to meet. The new Bachelorette told Chris that she knows this process moves very quickly. She added that she knows one starts to invest a lot of feelings early on.

Tayshia continued, “I don’t know if that’s the case for some of them, and if so, I am more than happy to have that conversation with them; if they don’t feel like this is the right time for them or I’m not right for them”. However, she said she feels like this is the right moment in time.

The new Bachelorette said she would not be here if it wasn’t meant to be. The Bachelorette air on ABC at 8 pm. ET.
