Bachelorette Stars Clare Crawley And Dale Moss Split

Clare Crawley and Dale Moss have called it quits after their five-month engagement. The news was first reported by PageSix as it read that the couple has decided to end their relationship last week.

TMZ also added that it was Dale who wanted to end their relationship as he asked to call it quits last weekend. Earlier, another entertainment portal had reported that the couple is taking some time apart. A source revealed that the two of them have been fighting a lot.

The hairstylist and the NFL wide receiver became engaged on the 16th season of The Bachelorette. The proposal was aired in November and PageSix also reported that there was a whole bunch of problems between the two.

A source revealed that the exact reason for the breakup is not clear. However, according to the source she wanted him to move to Sacramento and he is not into the idea. Clare also reportedly wanted kids right away and he does not.

According to another entertainment portal, there was still hope for the couple. “They are mainly in disagreement over lifestyle preferences. Dale wants to be in a lively city and focus on his career, and Clare is rooted in Sacramento to help care for her mom. It’s been very tense recently between them,” the insider said.

Dale has been in NYC meanwhile she was seen in Northern California. He is said to care deeply about Clare, but he feels he is rushing into something he is unsure about. A source added that they are both still getting to know each other and figuring it out.

And the friend had noted, “They’ve decided to take some time apart for now… They are still figuring out the logistics of their relationship and if they will stay together.” Dale was last seen on Clare’s social media back in January and vice-versa.

However, just last week, Dale was gushing about his ex-fiance. He was on the Raising the Bar with Alli and Adrian podcast. Dale said he had never signed up to be on the ABC romance competition but was nominated. Moss said: “Now, I could have never planned what happened because I was nominated.”

He continued, “I never actually signed up. And I turned it down over, and over, and over again. And I actually finally committed to it four days before everyone was supposed to leave for the show.” The NFL receiver further explained the only reason he committed to it was that Clare was announced as Bachelorette at the time.

Dale shared that he did not seriously consider taking part until he saw Clare on television in March 2020 and feeling like he had to meet her. The former pro athlete said: “She was so confident and passionate about it. And I know that she had been through this before, but I felt by watching her that this was her time and she was exactly where she was meant to be.”

The couple even took things a step forward as hairdresser Clare gave Dale his last haircut of 2020. Dale shared the photo of them as he got ready to enter the new year with a fresh look. He had posted a mirror snap of him sitting in the hairdresser chair.
