Ayushmann Khurrana Begins Shooting For His Upcoming Movie Doctor G

Bollywood actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana has flown to Bhopal to start shooting for his next movie called Doctor G.

Ayushmann Khurrana was seen leaving Mumbai today for the shoot location in Central India. The actor is expected to be in Bhopal for well over a month.

A trade source states to a leading entertainment tabloid that, “Ayushmann Khurrana’s next Doctor G has made headlines in the industry because of its excellent writing and Ayushmann’s involvement in the project. Dr. G is one of the few movies that will portray Ayushmann in a new way, give him a makeover relative to his previous roles and attract audiences across India.

Ayushmann and Rakul will be seen sharing the screen for the first time ever in the upcoming movie Doctor G.

While Ayushmann will be playing the role of Dr. Uday Gupta, the actress will portray the character of Dr. Fatima, a medical student playing the role of Ayushmann’s senior in the film.

This storyline is certainly unique and out of the ordinary. It’s going to be a project unlike anything we have seen in mainstream movies and the wait is definitely worth it!

The movie is co-authored and directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. The film is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat.

Potential Lead For Veer Savarakar’s Biopic

On Veer Savarkar’s 138th birthday, a biopic was announced to him.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, sources now indicate that its makers have three actors as their top pick – Ayushmann Khurrana, Randeep Hooda and Rajkummar Rao – in the lead role of Verer Savarkar.

Insiders in the industry say the three actors are targeted primarily for the major physical changes they can make in their movies. 

Commercial experts believe that to make a biopic in a person like Veer Savarkar as realistic as possible, the crème de la crème of the industry needs to come into play.
