In an interview with SiriusXM’s “Busted Open Radio,” the “Raw” Women’s Champion expressed her eagerness to face Rhea Ripley. Who is currently the favourite to win the women’s Royal Rumble match at the next premium live event? “Pick me if Rhea Ripley triumphs,” Belair replied.
“Everyone wants to see the game, I believe.” I can’t have Charlotte if she’s the winner. Belair claimed to be well aware of Ripley’s ascent in the world of professional wrestling. She claimed that Ripley has been doing “wonderful” things ever since the two of them captured the title gold at WrestleMania 37.
There is a history between Belair and Ripley in terms of TV narrative. Belair defeated Ripley in the women’s Rumble match of 2021. She then defeated Sasha Banks to win the “SmackDown” Women’s Championship on WrestleMania 37’s opening night. Belair said that she’s not exactly rooting for anyone to lose in the women’s Royal Rumble match, despite her desire to fight Ripley.
“I definitely want to keep the throne safe,” Belair declared. “I am, but I support everyone.” I was recently conducting an interview, and I was asked if there was anyone in the women’s Royal Rumble that I should be cheering against. Absolutely not, no, I say. “I’m pulling for everyone, and I want us all to succeed.”
Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio
In a WWE video, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day were shown practising in the ring in preparation for the 2023 Royal Rumble. Ripley confirmed that her “Dom-Dom” will compete in the men’s Rumble bout. Dominik discussed how Ripley is educating him about the Rumble match but his father, Rey Mysterio, is not.
“Dominik has been a delight to teach because he picks things up quickly. Actually, I’m shocked Rey did not give him more of a shot. He wasn’t instructing him on how to advance or learn the ways of the world. That is the reason we are here. “If he had still been living with his father, he wouldn’t have been as successful or excelled as he has,” Ripley stated.
