AskTheDr To Burn 1 Billion Shiba Inu Tokens But Only If These Two Conditions Are Met

Canadian healthcare company Ask The Dr has come as a blessing to all the Shiba Inu investors. Recently, the company added Shiba Inu to it’s balance sheet and also announced that it would accept Shib as an official mode of payment.

Later on, AskTheDr promised that it would burn 2 billion Shiba Inu coins once it hits 50,000 followers on it’s Twitter and Instagram handle.

“ShibArmy will give you more than 50K”, said one comment while another user told “That’s awesome! Thanks for contributing to the burn! Also Steven Cooper is doing a shib Christmas burn party! 5$ tickets amongst other ways to contribute. The $$ goes to burn shib!! Spread the word!”

If you’re not aware about Coin Burns, it is essentially the practice of destroying the coin so that it is not available for further and is wiped off the supplies. This is done by sending the coins to any forgotten or specialized wallets whose private keys are not accessible. This, in turn, removes the token from supply and helps boost the price of the cryptocurrency.

Shib Burns In The Past

The company also said it is working on a new app that will track the number of steps walked and on every 10,000 steps walked, it would burn a certain number of SHIB coins.

And finally, the healthcare company has promised to burn 1 billion more Shib coins but there are two conditions for this to happen. Taking to it’s official Twitter handle, the company said:

“Our team @askthedr pledges to burn another 1B $shib tokens when both these goals are met:

1) This petition hits 1M signatures https://change.org/p/robinhood-convince-robinhood-they-will-prosper-if-they-list-shiba-inu-coin…

2) This tweet gets retweeted at least 25,000 times

So far, the tweet has been reposted more than 5,000 times. The petition mentioned has crossed over 550,000 signatures.
