Ashwariya Rai Receives Warm Welcome at Cannes as She Appears With Her Daughter

Actress Ashwariya Rai along with her daughter and her husband arrived on the red carpet and received a warm welcome in France. The actress will attend the prestigious film festival. The former Miss World winner has been a fixture at the prestigious film event since 2002.

The actress along with her husband and her daughter were photographed at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday night. After that, all three of them were photographed just after arriving in the Cannes a day later. All three of them received a warm welcome on their arrival. Ashwariya’s daughter Aaradhya is seen posing with a bouquet of flowers as she is seen standing next to her mother.

The mother-daughter duo was seen posing for the cameras with a smile on their face, as they were joined by a few men in uniform for some photos. Also, a video came up which showed Abhishek standing on the side, as he made his way inside the hotel as Aishwarya and Aaradhya were seen posing together. 

The actress made her Cannes film festival red carpet debut back in 2002, and since then she has treated her fans and followers with her remarkable and notable presence.

Moreover, actress Deepika Padukone is seen as the jury member this year, along with that AR Rahman, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pooja Hegde, Ricky Kej, Shekhar Kapur, Tammanaah Bhatia, Hina Khan, and Urvashi Rautela, are some of the notable names who marked their presence this year at the 75th Cannes film festival.

Six Indian Films are going to screen at the film festival

The Information and Broadcasting ministry chose six Indian films which will be screened at the Cannes Film Market. The films which will be screened at the film festival include Rocketry – The Nambi Effect, Godavari, Alpha Beta Gamma, Boomba Ride, Dhuin, and Niraye Thathakalulla Maram. Satyajit Ray’s 1970 film Pratidwandi is going to be presented in an exclusive screening at the festival.

Prime Minster Narendra Modi gave a special message to the Indian delegation and said, he was “delighted about India’s participation” at the film festival.

While talking about the work front of Ashwariya, she is prepping for her next film, Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, which will be released later this year. She was last seen in 2018 film Fanney Khan along with Rajkumar Rao, and Anil Kapoor.
