Booker T

As WWE Raw Celebrates its 30th Anniversary, Booker T Will Be Absent From Raw XXX

In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a number of WWEstar, including The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and others, will be present. One notable omission from the event is Booker T, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and current “WWE NXT” announcer.

This is in light of recent reports that suggested he might attend the historic event. He put the rumours to rest right away as he discussed the most recent episode of his “Hall of Fame” podcast today. Booker T told Brad Gilmore, “I’m right here at home unless they’re going to send the plane to pick me up and get me there quickly. I will not be at Raw 30 tonight, he then proclaimed categorically. His disappearance appears to have at least one plausible explanation.

Before mentioning that he’ll also be participating in the kick-off show before the Royal Rumble on Saturday, he said, “I’ve got NXT tomorrow, and I’ve absolutely gotta be prepared for that.” But that doesn’t mean the five-time WCW World Champion wouldn’t accept the invitation to compete in tonight’s match, especially with the presence of another legendary performer. Booker T continued, “I’m still going through the letters every day.” Because my man Ric Flair will be there, I wish I could attend Raw 30 tonight.

RAW 30th Anniversary special

The Phenom has had many memorable matches on RAW since its debut in 1991. On April 22, 2013, he faced The Shield in a six-man tag team match while teaming up with Kane and Daniel Bryan. This was his penultimate match with the company. After defeating AJ Styles in a staged “Boneyard Match” at WrestleMania 36, the 57-year-old wrestling legend made an official announcement of his retirement.

Despite being brief, The Undertaker’s final plot served its purpose with the epic showdown at Mania. The Phenom is currently weighing his options for a supporting role in the RAW 30th Anniversary special. There will reportedly be a “passing of the torch” scene between Taker and LA Knight. The two are scheduled to face off in a Pitch Black Match at Royal Rumble on January 28.
