Deepika Padukone had worked with the late actor Irrfan Khan in the film Piku which has completed five years of release today!
It has been more than a week since the actor Irrfan Khan passed away. After his death, the actress Deepika Padukone had posted a blank black picture with a broken heart emoji. Today as her film Piku has completed 5 years of its release, she has shared a picture remembering her co-star from the film.
The picture is a happy one from the time they were shooting for the film. Both Irrfan and Deepika can be seen laughing wide in the still. Along with the picture, DP has also shared a few lines from the song Lamhe Guzar Gaye which is from the same film. Ending the caption, she wrote for the late actor, “Rest in Peace my Dear Friend… #rana #piku”

Apart from Deepika Padukone and Irfan Khan, Piku also starred Amitabh Bachchan. Based on the relationship of a father and his daughter, the film was directed by Shoojit Sircar.
Irrfan Khan had breathed his last on April 29th this year in Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai. The actor was not keeping well for a few days and was also fighting with neuroendocrine tumour for the past two years.
