ARMY is surprised by BTS and Megan Thee Stallion’s’smooth’ performance on Butter
At their show in Los Angeles, BTS and Megan Thee Stallion finally performed their cover of the septet’s smash single Butter. Megan and BTS were set to perform together at the American Music Awards (AMAs) in 2021, but they were unable to do so owing to the Savage rapper’s last-minute cancellation.
BTS stunned ARMY with a performance of Butter on the second day of their four-day Permission to Dance on Stage event in Los Angeles, joined by Megan Thee Stallion, the ‘Hot Girl Coach!’ Within the song, the rapper delivered her famous rap stanza, which had previously become an instant hit following its release. BTS and Megan appeared to be having a good time and enjoying each other’s company while swaying to their huge remix. Megan Thee Stallion’s fans, affectionately known as ‘MegTan,’ couldn’t believe they were finally able to see the group’s much-anticipated performance.
Megan had earlier tweeted, “While opting out of the AMAs, “Stunning women I was very pleased to attend the AMAs and perform with BTS, but I’m unable to do so due to an unexpected personal problem. I’m so depressed! I’m definitely looking forward to performing BTS’ Butter on live with my boys soon!” However, now that Megan and BTS have played Butter live, fans in attendance have been gushing about it on Twitter.
Megan praised BTS on Twitter and thanked them for inviting her! She wrote on Twitter, “Last night was EVERYTHING ButterGrowing heart Thank you to my friends BTS for having meee.”
