Sasha Banks

Another Possible Sign That Sasha Banks Is Returning To WWE

The rumours of Sasha Banks’ come back to WWE are spreading. Banks was advertised earlier this week, under her real identity Mercedes Varnado, to play in the Squad Donald vs. Team Ramsey celeb flag football game on Friday, August 5. Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Rams revised their lineups for the game on Thursday, and Banks’ title is no longer on either team. Banks was previously listed as a member of Team Donald, as seen in the tweet below.

On Thursday, the reigning Super Bowl champions updated Team Donald’s roster via Instagram Stories. It should be noted that Banks is still listed as a member of Team Donald on the Rams’ official website. The roster change sparked social media speculation that Banks might appear on Friday’s SmackDown in Greenville, South Carolina. Before Monday’s WWE Raw, numerous wrestling news outlets reported that Banks and Naomi, who contrived a walkout from WWE on May 16, had reached a decision to come back to the company.

The speculation about their come back began when Triple H replaced Bruce Prichard as WWE’s Head of Talent Relations as well as took over as WWE’s Head of Creative after Vince McMahon retired. Dave Meltzer reported last week that WWE was attempting to resolve with the retired Women’s Tag Team Champions, and a document this week stated that folks backstage in WWE were more or less persuaded of their come back.

Banks’ return to WWE

Paige, a veteran WWE Divas Champion, thinks Banks’ return to WWE is unavoidable. Paige stated at the StarrCast V media scrum last weekend, I think she’ll be back to WWE. I believe Hunter Triple H is in power now, taking the reins and all. SummerSlam alone demonstrated how much WWE has changed in an instant. I mean, I don’t think anyone has been completely satisfied with the pay-per-view in a long period of time, and people are departing SummerSlam thinking, holy s**t, this is a game changer.

Paige continued, So, I believe like finally, you know, Sasha and Naomi will come back in my opinion. Banks and Naomi will create their first public appearances since leaving WWE this weekend at the Chicago And Entertainment Expo Convention. Both Banks and Naomi were reportedly on expiring contracts at the time of their WWE walkout. Whereas Naomi was supposedly negotiating a new agreement, Banks’ agreement is scheduled to expire later this year, according to former WWE author Kazeem Famuyide.
