Anne Hathaway Spotted Wearing Devil Wears Prada Outfit At NYFW

Anne Hathaway has brought her Devil Wears Prada look at NYFW, this year. She graced the event by bringing alive her iconic outfit from the movie. Anne Hathway sat in the first row of Michael Kors’ runway at the fashion event. She presented the spring collection of the fashion line.

Michael Kors’s spring collection was presented by models like Paloma Elsesser and Bella Hadid. She walked the show alongside  Nina Dobrev, Serena Williams, Vanessa Hudgens, and more. All these models were seen wearing monochromatic-themed outfits. She was spotted sporting a black turtleneck sweater which was complimented with a brown croc-print skirt and a black trench coat. She completed the look wearing elegant black heels.

But it is interesting to note that her outfit draws inspiration from her blockbuster fashion and style movie Devil Wears Prada in which she starred alongside Meryl Streep. Although Hathaway definitely resembled Andy in the movie after getting a makeover, it was her bangs that were the cherry on top.

NYFW Embraces Devil Wears Prada Moment

It is not just the outfit that is inspired by the movie but we also have a moment at the fashion week that gives reference to a scene. Hathaway was seen sitting next to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who served as the model for Miranda Priestly in the 2006 movie, adding another reference from the movie at the event.

Devil Wears Prada is based on the book of the same name by Lauren Weisberger. The story is based on a journalist named Andy played by Anne Hathaway. She lands a job at a top fashion magazine run by Meryl Streep. However, she lands a job without having any fashion knowledge. She tries to impress her extremely difficult-to-impress boss Marinda played by Meryl Streep. After a lot of conflict facing her tough job, Andy decides to move to a job that lies more in her interest and succeeds at impressing her boss before moving.

Fans were very surprised to see Anne Hathaway channeling her Devil Wears Prada look at the event.
