Angelina Jolie reveals the real reason behind her break up from Brad Pitt.
In an interview with Vogue on Friday, Angelina revealed that she broke up with Brad Pitt for the ‘well-being’ of her children.
Jolie said that it is the right decision. She continues to focus on their(children) healing. Jolie says that some people have taken advantage of her silence which affects her children. They see lies about themselves on the news but Angelina reminds them that they know their truth.
Angelina describes her children as strong and brave. She adopted Maddox, Pax and Zahara. And then gave birth to Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox.
When explaining the process to her kids, Jolie said the words ‘adoption’ and ‘orphanage’ are postive words in her house.
Angelina later revealed that she separated from Brad for the well-being of her children. She encourages talking openly and sharing in her family. Angelina says that she does not talk about pregnancy with her adopted children. She makes sure they know the beautiful journey to find them. And Jolie tells them how it felt to look them in the eyes for the first time.
Angelina explains that non-biological kids should always know where they came from. Further explaining she said that they should not lose touch with their roots.
She added, “It’s the most amazing journey to share. They are not entering your world, you are entering each other’s worlds.”
Jolie continued saying she is grateful to be their mom.
Angelina and Brad’s fight in court
Angelina and Brad met during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004.
They were together for ten years before tying the knot in 2014. Angelina filed for divorce in 2016.
There was a rumour doing the rounds that Brad and Maddox, their son, had an argument in a private jet. This, allegedly led to Angelina filing for divorce. Brad later on was cleared from any wrongdoing.
Angelina received the custody of all the six kids and Brad could only have therapeutic visitations.
Brad fought for more time with his kids but got denied of all the requests he made. In 2017, both Angelina and Brad decided to keep their court documents private. In 2018, the judge ordered Angelina to improve Brad’s relationship with the kids. Allegedly, after that Brad got more time with his kids.
Later that year, Angelina accused him of not paying up for child support. Brad denied the accusation and said he pays over $9 million for the same.
Moving forward both Brad and Angelina decided to co-parent effectively for their children. After a lot of back and forth in the court, they seem to be co-parenting without any trouble at the moment.
During quarantine, the children are spending most of their time with their mother, Angelina. She lives in a $25 million mansion which is minutes away from Brad’s house.
Brad threw a part for Shiloh recently which was attended by all the siblings. Even Maddox participated, who was estranged from his father until recently.
The exes are getting better according to sources. They want their children to be happy and are co-parenting really well.
‘Brad’s kids are the most important thing to him. He tells his friends he learns so much about life from his own children,’ a source revealed.
