Actor Amitabh Bachchan reportedly bought a property worth ₹ 31 crore.
The actor bought an area of 5,184 sq ft in Mumbai in December, but only registered in April.
Property Details
He paid for the stamp duty work alone a sum of ₹ 62 lakh. The area is estimated to cost ₹ 60000 per square foot, according to a MoneyControl.com report.
MoneyControl reviewed the registration documents and found that the site is located on the 27th and 28th floors, and comes with six car parks.
The report also states that actress Sunny Leone registered worth 16 crore property in the same building on March 28. Filmmaker Aanand L Rai bought a double flat in the same building, costing ₹ 25 crore.
Amitabh’s Bungalows
Amitabh lives in Juhu bungalow Jalsa with his family. He also owns houses called Prateeksha, Janak, and others.
In a social media post earlier this year, Amitabh revealed that Jalsa was the belonging of former film writer NC Sippy and that he ‘bought it and rebuilt it’.
He tweeted in April, “Chupke Chupke ‘, with Harris Da, closing in to 46 years today .. that house that you see in the pic with Jaya .. is now Jalsa my home, bought & rebuilt .. many films shot there – Anand, Namak Haram, Chupke Chupke , Satte pe Satta it was Producer NC Sippy’s house , then…”
Upcoming Projects
Amitabh was last seen on screen in the movie Gulabo Sitabo, released live on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
He has a number of upcoming films, including names such as Chehre, which has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as Jhund, Brahmastra, Mayday and Goodbye.
