Amber Heard Reacts, on the Reports of Her Firing from Aquaman 2

Hollywood actress Amber Heard has reacted and went on to replay to those reports which claimed that the she was not going to be the part of, “Aquaman 2.” Heard has denied the fact that her role in, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is being recast. The actress gave her reaction on the fact that she was being replaced by some other actress in the upcoming DC film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The reports also claimed the Warner Bros had decided, to replace Amber after the screen testing of the film along with a selected audience. After all this getting viral, the representative of the actress have shut down all the rumors and gave the clarification that the reports were, ‘inaccurate.’ Furthermore, the representative told, “Warner Brothers decided to recast Amber Heard‘s role after screen testing the movie.”

The reports have surfed up after the actress lost a heavily-publicized defamation trial against former husband Johnny Depp in a Virginia court. After the trial, it came out that the court ordered Amber to pay Johnny $10.35 million in damages, saying she had defamed him when she alleged he abused her during their marriage.

Through the trial there was an online petition going on, to get Amber removed from Aquaman. It was seen that it had reached over 4 million signatures by June. There were sources which claimed that, the studio was allegedly going to be doing reshoots with stars Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman.  Meanwhile on the other hand there are a lot of chatter going on in online, were the Johnny Depp fans are urging Warner Bros to fire Amber from Aquaman 2.

As because it was earlier seen, that how Johnny had been replaced from the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise after Amber had levelled similar allegations against him. After the reports had speculated that the Warner Bros had finally succumbed to that pressure. When The Blast reached out to Amber for a comment, one of her spokesperson went on to respond, and said “The rumour mill continues as it has from day one — inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.”

Amber plays “Mera” in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which stars Jason Momoa in the titular role, and the next part is scheduled to release on March 17, 2023. This film is a sequel to the film released back in 2018 which had the stars like Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Temuera Morrison.
