Alongside Chris Pratt, Jai Courtney has been cast in Amazon’s The Terminal List series
Jai Courtney of The Suicide Squad will star with Chris Pratt in Amazon’s upcoming television series adaptation of The Terminal List. Courtney, who just returned to reprise his role as Captain Boomerang in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad sequel, is no stranger to television roles, having started his career in Australian television before starring in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. He also participated in Netflix’s drama series Stateless more recently.
According to Variety, Courtney will play Steve Horn, a ruthless millionaire who will clash with Pratt’s former Navy SEAL James Reece in a recurrent guest role. The Terminal List is executive produced by Pratt and the book’s original author, Jack Carr, and is based on the novel of the same name. Following Pratt’s character’s return home after a terrible ambush that killed his entire unit, the series will follow him as he faces hidden threats.

Pratt and Courtney
Pratt and Courtney have both recently appeared in two of Amazon’s original films, so this is a return to the streaming service for both. While Courtney co-starred opposite Kate Beckinsale in the action-comedy Jolt, Pratt has broken Amazon streaming records with the release of his sci-fi film The Tomorrow War.
Outside of DC, Courtney has worked on popular action series. Despite the fact that the films were not well received, Courtney reprised his roles in both a Terminator and a Die Hard sequel.
Despite the fact that the films were not well received, Courtney reprised his roles in both a Terminator and a Die Hard sequel. Combining Courtney’s action skills with Pratt’s increased popularity as Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Amazon has a decent chance of creating an exciting new show. The Terminal List began filming earlier this year, and Amazon is planning a 2022 release.
