Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Kay Kay Menon, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Shweta, Anindita Bose, Gajraj Rao, and Bidita Bag are among the stellar cast members in Ray.

Global Impact

Forget Me Not, a segment directed by Srijit, stars Ali and Shweta. In the film, Ali plays Ipsit, a corrupt business shark who also stars Anindita Bose. Ali, who described Ray’s character as larger-than-life, said the filmmaker’s contributions to literature and movies had a “global influence.”

“It’s an honour to be a part of his universe and to work on a project with such a strong link to him. With Forget Me Not, we drew inspiration from him and his writings to craft a story that would bring back memories of him while also provoking your thoughts “In a statement, the actor stated.

Ray’s films were a big part of Shweta’s childhood, and she has wonderful memories of watching them at her grandmother’s house.

“I think it’s a fantastic way to present Ray’s work of literature to the Netflix generation, and I’m honoured to be a part of it. I recall going to my grandmother’s place and watching Ray films like Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne and Sonar Kella. When I first heard about Ray, my initial feeling was one of joy. Being a part of a project named after India’s greatest filmmaker is a source of pride for me “she stated
