After the of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, rumours surfaced that Marvel Studios is focusing on Captain America 4.

With Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) holding the weapon and accepting his duty as Captain America, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier came to a close. Although his appointment was being celebrated on social media, story came that Captain America 4 was in the process.

The producer of the Marvel show, Malcolm Spellman, has now played down the Captain America 4 rumours. In a recent interview, Spellman said that these rumours could not be believed until Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige makes the official announcement.

“Who was it that said it? Was it Kevin who said it? Anything you don’t hear directly from the man himself, I wouldn’t trust “According to Spellman, who spoke to Comicbook.com, The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that Captain America 4 was in the works. Spellman has been tapped to co-write the script with Dalan Musson, according to reports.

Whether or not Captain America 4 is out, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’s finale hinted that Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan)’s is far from over. The final episode of Marvel Cinematic Universe phase 4 included a variety of plotlines that could be discussed in the future.
