Addison Rae opened up about how her career has affected her love life. She sat down in an interview on The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1. The TikTok star revealed that she is taking control of her life and focusing more on herself and making new music.
She shared that this is the time for her to focus on herself and she has taken control of that and realized things. The social media star revealed, “Right now is my time to focus on me and I’ve kind of really just taken control of that and realize that you know, you can only get presented opportunities for so long and then they kind of go away. And when you’re in a relationship, especially like a romantic one, I’m very guilty of, you know, putting a lot into that and loving that.”
Addison described herself as being a “hopeless romantic”, however, she said it is time for her to fall hopelessly in love with herself. The He’s All That actress revealed that her entire life has always looked up to love. She said, “I think my entire life I’ve kind of always looked up to love. I’m a hopeless romantic if you will. But I do know that maybe now’s my time to be hopelessly in love with myself and that’s kind of what I’ve been trying to do, which has been an interesting thing.”

Addison Admits Her Past Relationship Inspired Her Music
The TikTok star further explained that she does love a good relationship and think they are always inspiring and fun. She shared that her past relationship has inspired her music. Further explaining, she admitted that it is cool just to relate feelings and emotions and not necessarily the person or the scenario. The Obsessed singer said, “So it’s kind of cool just to relate feelings and emotions and not necessarily the person or exact scenarios, but just being able to relate the feeling of love and being able to have experienced that is really good, especially for writing.”
Addison is obviously referring to her ex, Bryce Hall. The couple split last month after he allegedly cheated on her while being on a trip to Las Vegas. After his trip, KeemStar, the YouTuber claimed to have screenshots of a woman saying she hooked up with Bryce on the trip.
However, the TikTok star took to social media and refuted the rumors as he tweeted out, “I did not cheat on Addison”. The next month, the singer took to her social media to share that she is choosing to handle some of the stuff offline. “I love y’all and am always so grateful for the kind words and support you show me,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Sharing my life with y’all makes me happy, but some things I choose to handle offline.”
Addison shared that she will make the decision of wanting to share or not wanting to share. She expressed her gratitude towards her fans and she also said that hate is never the answer. The couple confirmed their relationship last November and dated on and off before splitting in March.
