
New G. I Joe film in the works? Read more
A new G.I. Joe movie is in the works even before “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” hits theaters this fall. Snake Eyes is a spin-off to the previous films which are inspired by the popular military themed toy range.
The makers are already in talks with Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse for a follow up for the upcoming film. which is due for release in November. The new movie will not be a direct sequel. It will ‘rather be an expansion deeper into the world of Joe,’
Henry Golding stars as Snake Eyes alongside Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow and Samara Weaving. Samara will play Snake Eyes’ love interest Scarlett in the upcoming actioner. Whilst Iko Uwais and Ursula Corbero will also be featured in the film.
The first two films attracted several big ticket movie stars, including Bruce Willis, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sienna Miller.
