Pete Davidson Seemingly Confirms His Relationship With Phoebe Dynevor
Pete Davidson seemingly confirmed his recent romance with Bridgerton’s leading lady, Phoebe Dynevor. He appeared to have a virtual conversation with Marquette University students on Sunday.
The comedian was asked to reveal the identity of his celebrity crush during the Q&A. He responded telling the student body that he was off the market. ‘I’m with my celebrity crush,’ he teased with a cheeky grin, without specifically using Phoebe’s name, months after sparking romance rumors with the actress.
Pete shared that it is all he can speak on. The SNL star used to date ex-fiance superstar, Ariana Grande. The couple had gotten engaged to each other for four months until October 2018. They went their separate ways since then. Ariana had referenced Pete in her superhit song, Thank U, Next. She sang, “Even almost got married, and for Pete, I’m so thankful.”
Phoebe is the daughter of the Coronation Street actress, Sally Dynevor. She first appeared on TV at the age of 14 with roles in Snatch and later Waterloo Road. However, her recent role in Netflix’s Bridgerton put her on the map. The show has already been renewed for its second season but the cast has not yet started filming. It first became Netflix’s most-watched original series ever after debuting in December with 82 million households watching in its first 28 days.
Pete has had a relationship with British actress, Kate Beckinsale. He had also been with actress Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerber. Phoebe was in a relationship with Skins actor, Sean Teale back in 2017. Bridgerton star will follow her role in Netflix by starring the late British artist Clarice Cliff in the film biopic.
Dynevor, who starred Daphne Bassett nee Bridgerton in Netflix’s biggest show, will play Stoke-born Cliff in Sky’s The Color Room. “It’s a great honor to take on such a character,” she said. Known for her brilliant Art Deco designs from the 1920s, Cliff was one of the UK’s leading artists.
Dynevor added: “The script is a beautifully written contemporary take on the 20th Century, and I feel proud to be working with such a strong female team, both in front and behind the camera.” Sky said the film will portray Cliff as a “factory worker” who is “intelligent and aspiring” and “who takes on the most dangerous risks”.
