Elizabeth Olsen Said Fuller House Inspired Her Performance In WandaVision
Elizabeth Olsen had appeared in one episode of Full House with her sisters back in 1995. The actress shared that her inspiration for her nostalgic performance comes from her sisters.
She thanked her sisters for inspiring her performance in WandaVision. The highly-anticipated series will be released on Disney+ this winter. The actress opened up to Entertainment Weekly that her visiting her sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, on the sets of Full House helped her get into her character.
WandaVision revolves around Wanda (Elizabeth) and Vision (Paul Bettany). The Marvel TV show is retro filled with references to those classic TV sitcoms from the 50s through the 90s. Elizabeth shared how insane it was to be performing in front of an audience. She said, “There was something very meta for my own life because I would visit those tapings as a kid, where my sisters were working [On Full House].”
The actress revealed it was sentimental for her as she recalled the knowledge of watching her sisters while growing up. Meanwhile her co-star, Paul shared they were all so high by the end of it that they wanted to keep on running the show. He said, “Maybe take it out on tour or something. WandaVision on ice.”
Elizabeth expressed her gratitude despite the stress of filming with a crowd. She said playing Scarlett Witch is her biggest gift from Marvel. The actress said, “You get to just focus on her and not how she felt through everyone else’s storylines.”
However, the Olsen twins have stepped back from the spotlight since their last movies came out. As per reports, Ashley is supporting Mary-Kate to get through her divorce from Oliver Sarkozy.

They are said to be focusing on their fashion brands, The Row and Elizabeth and James. The twins were also not a part of Netflix’s spinoff Fuller House back in 2016. Both the sisters said that they were shocked initially and claimed they weren’t invited to be a part of it.
But the crew made attempts to have Michelle Tanner to make a cameo. Candace Cameron Bure also revealed that the team did not bother to ask them to join the last season.
