Chrissy Teigen penned a heartfelt tribute and returned to social media on Tuesday. The model had taken a month-long break after her pregnancy loss. However, she is back and thanking Hillary Clinton for sharing her essay on her experience.

Hillary had shared Chrissy’s heartfelt essay on Twitter and called her brave for speaking out about such a tragic and often a toboo- topic. Chrissy soon responded to her and said she is honored that Hillary shared her words.

She took to Twitter and wrote, “oh my god Hillary Clinton just tweeted my essay now I have to delete the stupid videos I just posted oh my god please dont look at them Hillary Clinton.” In another tweet, Chrissy included Hillary’s tweet and added how honored she felt.

The cookbook author continued appreciating Hillary and wrote how she has dedicated her life to fighting women and children’s health which makes it more special that she shared her essay. She wrote, “You have dedicated your life to fighting for women’s and children’s health, so to have you share my piece about my experience means the absolute world to me. Wow. Wow.”

Hillary in her tweet thanked Chrissy for her bravery and grace in starting a hard conversation to help other families heal with hers. The model had announced that she is returning to social media after taking a break for a month.

She took to her Instagram stories to share videos of her cooking something in the oven. The model captioned the video writing that she missed posting her cookbook journey. The mother-of-two wrote, “I [am] so incredibly proud — it will absolutely be my best ever.”

The cookbook author came back to social media the same day she posted her heartfelt essay about the tragic loss her and husband, John Legend faced. She lost her baby boy, Jack, at 20 weeks. The model had shared the sad news on September 30 as she posted heart-breaking photos of her and John in the emotional moment.

In her touching essay, Chrissy talked about the pain of losing Jack and her journey throughout the experience. She also said how grateful she is for all who shared their personal experience with her.

“People say an experience like this creates a hole in your heart,” Teigen wrote. “A hole was certainly made, but it was filled with the love of something I loved so much. It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full.”

In concluding her essay she explained why she chose to write an essay. She shared that she wrote it because she knew for her, she needed to say something before she could move on from this and return back to life. The model thanked everyone who were allowing her to do that.

“Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see. Thank you so much to every single person who has had us in their thoughts or gone as far as to send us your love and stories. We are so incredibly lucky.”
